Kashipur Nagar Nigam & Kashipur Marathon 2013

This 26th January came as a Good News for Kashipur. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand announced that Kashipur & Rudrapur would the Two new Nagar Nigams in the State Of Uttarakhand.

It may be noted that the Kashipur District Demand is a long pending demand of the residents the Government has not yet given any good response on this. This may also be noted that in the previous such speeches the Govt had declared 4 New Districts but till date none of them came into existence. Haldwani was also Declared as Nagar Nigam but yet its not fully functional.

IIM Kashipur organized the First Ever Marathon in Kashipur. Images of the same could be found here. Kashipur is a very small city for a Marathon but the IIM Kashipur and Local Police was able to manage the same in a grand way we would be happy to see the 2nd edition of the same next year. This years Marathon was dedicated "for safety and dignity of women".

Couple finds, returns over $11,000 found near Golden Gate Bridge

A couple visiting San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge on Valentine's Day discovered an unattended camera bag in a nearby parking lot. Inside the bag: credit cards, some papers and (wait for it) over $11,000.

The couple, Carlos and Barbara Landeros of Vallejo, Calif., had driven down to San Francisco for a romantic dinner, according to NBCBayArea.com. Setting out on a presupper walk across the bridge, Barbara spotted camera bag. Thinking its owner would soon return, they waited to make sure it wasn't stolen.

After 45 minutes, their patience ran out, and Barbara opened the bag. Inside was the massive stack of cash. "I got nervous at first, it could be drug money," she told NBCBayArea.com. "I was scared."

अगर आप उन मोबाइल कंपनियों के यूजर्स हैं जिनको लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने एक बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है, तो जल्द ही आपको तगड़ा झटका लग सकता है। जी हां, आपका सिम जल्द ही बंद हो सकता है। उसमें पड़ा बैलेंस भी डेड बैलेंस हो सकता है। इतना ही नहीं, आपके मोबाइल में आने वाला उस सिम का सिग्नल भी पूरी तरह से ठप्प हो सकता है। अब आप सोच रहे होगें कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ऐसा क्या आदेश दे दिया जो एक साथ इतने झटके लगने जा रहे हैं, तो जनाब यह जान लीजिए कि कोर्ट के इस आदेश से देश के 2.5 करोड़ यूजर्स को एक झटके में कई चीजों से हाथ धोना पड़ सकता है।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपना लाइसेंस गंवा देने वाली टेलीकॉम कंपनियों को अपनी सेवाएं तत्काल बंद करने का आदेश दिया है। शीर्ष अदालत द्वारा सुनाए गए नए आदेश से खासकर वे टेलीकॉम कंपनियां प्रभावित हुई हैं जो 2जी स्पेक्ट्रम की ताजा नीलामी के पहले दौर में असफल साबित हुई थीं अथवा जिन्होंने इसमें शिरकत नहीं की थीं।

आसान हों निवेश नियम तो बने बात

अगर उद्योग जगत के सुझावों को वित्त मंत्री मान लेते हैं तो राजीव गांधी इक्विटी बचत योजना (आरजीईएसएस) एक ओपन एंडेड उत्पाद होगा और इसमें निवेश शर्तों में भी ढील जा सकती है। वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम ने शनिवार को कहा था कि छोटे निवेशकों को आकर्षित करने और आरजीईएसएस में निवेश आसान बनाने की कुछ घोषणा की जा सकती है।
म्युचुअल फंड उद्योग से जुड़े चार अधिकारियों ने कहा कि क्लोज एंडेड प्रारूप आरजीईएसएस की राह में बड़ी बाधा है। इस तरह की योजना में निवेशक एक तय समय से पहले अपना निवेश नहीं निकाल सकते हैं। ऐसे में उद्योग चाहता है कि आरजीईएसएस में बदलाव किया जाए ताकि निवेशक अपना पैसा अपने हिसाब से निकाल सकें।
आरजीईएसएस को खास तौर से पहली बार शेयर बाजार में निवेश करने वाले छोटे निवेशकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए लाया गया है। इसमें 10 लाख रुपये सालाना आय कमाने वाले निवेशक 50,000 रुपये तक निवेश के जरिये कर में छूट पा सकते हैं। म्युचुअल फंड उद्योग का कहना है कि इसमें पहले साल ही कर रियायत की अनुमति दी गई है, जिसमें बदलाव की दरकार है। उद्योग इसमें निवेश पर स्थायी तौर से कर रियायत की मांग कर रहा है। म्युचुअल फंड के एक मुख्य कार्याधिकारी ने कहा कि पहली बार कर रियायत मिलने से निवेशक इसमें कर लाभ के लिए एक बार निवेश कर इसे भूल जाएंगे।
