Dear SecurityMatterz, I Want to know which state is following PSARA Act How and where we can apply because we are providing the securities in Pan India. And I think only 6 or 7 states are follow this Also Please send me a filled form as a sample. regards sonu.kumar@vijayantsecurity.com SecurityMatterz Says Dear Sir, The Private Securities Agencies (Regulation) Act 2005 enacted by the Indian Government gives an outline and makes it incumbent on all states (except the state of J&K)to frame rules for the private security agencies operating within that state. Since the deadline for doing so is not specified in the act the states took and in some case have been taking their own time. As the Owner of a Private security Agency operating Pan India wanting to cope with changing regulatory norms your Query has three parts. Part one A. How to know which state has started following the act ie. has framed rules. This is how you search for the above state-wise enactment of the a/m rule (or any act or rule passed by the central or State government for that matter) on securitymatterz blog. 1. On the left of our blog, You see the LINK list below the followers- Click on the ‘National’ link. 2. The ‘National Portal of India will open. 3. On the left, below the ‘Government’ Tab, there are three tabs- ‘Sectors’, 'Know India’ & ‘Business’. 4. In the list below the centre Tab ‘Know India’ click on anything from 'Profile' to 'National Symbols' but preferably on 'States/UT'. 5. On the page that opens next, there will be a ‘Grey Text Box' in the top right corner with a vertical list of options. 6. One of these options (below the ‘Acts’) will be ‘Rules’. Click on it. 7. The next page would be what you were looking for. The search page for rules. Select you want central government rules, or search by state, or by no. of the rule or by year of enactment. If it has been enacted it will be there since this is the national database & accountable to the CIC of India. And you can download anything you want- a free pdf copy. 8. Same goes for the Acts enacted by the Parliament, in that case in step 6, you have to Click on ‘Acts’ instead of rules. Part Two B. Where to Apply.- Apply to the controlling authority for initial licensing as well as for renewal. The controlling authority may be separate in separate state and will be specified in the rules itself for example, in Haryana the ADG Law & Order has been appointed the controlling authority. So get the rules for each state where you want to apply for license & read them. Part Three C. Assuming that you are talking about the form for application of operating license, you may ask us a specific query or the problem that you may be facing in filling up of the form, specific to a particular state.
