चैती का मेला इस क्षेत्र का प्रसिद्ध मेला है जो नैनीताल जनपद में काशीपुर नगर के पास प्रतिवर्ष चैत की नवरात्रि में आयोजित किया जाता है । इस स्थान का इतिहास पुराना है । काशीपुर में कुँडश्वरी मार्ग जहाँ से जाता है, वह स्थान महाभारत से भी सम्बन्धित रहा है । इस स्थान पर अब बालासुन्दरी देवी का मन्दिर है । मेले के अवसर पर दूर-दूर से यहाँ श्रद्धालु आते हैं ।
